Best Summer Fruit Salad

This Best Summer Fruit Salad features a vibrant mix of fresh pineapple, strawberries, and kiwi, combined with a tangy lemon juice dressing sweetened lightly with sugar or honey and accented by poppy seeds. The result is a refreshing, juicy fruit medley balanced by bright citrus notes and a subtle crunch from the poppy seeds. Chilling the salad enhances the mingling of flavors and makes it a revitalizing dish to cool down warm days.

Description

The Best Summer Fruit Salad brings together diced fresh pineapple, hulled strawberries, and peeled kiwi cut into bite-sized pieces. These fruits offer a variety of textures—from the firm yet juicy pineapple to the soft strawberries and tender kiwi segments. The salad is gently tossed with lemon juice, granulated sugar or honey for sweetness, and poppy seeds, which add a slight nutty texture and visual interest. The preparation is simple, emphasizing the fruit's natural flavors. Allowing the salad to chill for at least 30 minutes before serving gives time for the citrus and sweetness to meld throughout, enriching each bite. This salad is ideal as a light snack, refreshing side dish, or a healthy dessert option during summer months.
