Best Whipped Feta Dip Recipe
Description
The Best Whipped Feta Dip Recipe blends a block of feta cheese with plain yogurt, garlic, dried herbs like dill, oregano, and basil, plus seasoning and olive oil until smooth and creamy. This results in a thick yet airy texture that spreads easily or can be scooped with bread or vegetables. The use of dried rather than fresh herbs maintains a balanced, consistent flavor.
The dip is finished with a topping of olive oil, a dusting of Aleppo pepper for subtle heat, and chopped walnuts adding a satisfying crunch. The ingredients create a savory and slightly tangy spread without overwhelming sharpness.
You can prepare this dip a day ahead without the toppings to allow flavors to meld, then stir and add toppings just before serving. Leftovers keep well refrigerated for up to three days and should be stirred before reuse. It pairs well with pita, lavash, or vegetables such as radishes and carrots, making it a versatile option for serving.
