Black Pepper Sauce
Description
The Black Pepper Sauce recipe starts by mincing garlic and chopping onions, which are quickly stir-fried in vegetable oil with a pinch of salt to develop aromatics. Then, a mixture containing beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, flour, and black pepper is poured into the pan. The sauce is cooked and stirred over medium heat for 5 to 10 minutes until it thickens to a smooth consistency.
The final sauce balances the savory depth of beef broth with umami from soy and Worcestershire sauces. Brown sugar adds a touch of sweetness, while black pepper provides a mild heat with suggested adjustments by taste. The result is a glossy, well-seasoned sauce with gentle garlic and onion undertones that work well over grilled or pan-fried meats.
This sauce can be tailored by adding more black pepper gradually to reach desired heat. Its moderate thickness makes it convenient as a table sauce, glaze, or stir-fry accompaniment. The recipe focuses on simple steps to develop rich flavor and texture without complicated technique.
