This blueberry simple syrup comes together quickly and easily with four simple ingredients! Its sweet, fruity flavor makes for a delicious addition to any lemonade, tea, mocktail, or cocktail. You can also drizzle it over some pancakes, waffles, or cheesecake!

Ingredients
- 1 cup blueberries fresh or frozen
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions
- Combine blueberries, sugar, and water in a small saucepan.
- Bring to a simmer for around 10 minutes or until the berries have softened, stirring throughout and gently mashing the berries with the back of a wooden spoon, spatula, or masher.
- Strain the blueberry syrup so only liquid remains. Add a splash of lemon juice to the simple syrup and stir to combine.
- Allow the syrup to cool, and then transfer it to an airtight container and store it in the fridge.
Notes
- This recipe yields approximately 1½ cups of blueberry syrup.
