Ingredients
Filling
- 4 cups fresh sweet cherries pitted
- ¼ cup bourbon
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 3 tbsp agave nectar or honey
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp orange juice
- 1 tsp orange zest
Topping
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ¼ cup Bacon
- ¼ cup flour
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup cold butter cubed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Pit the cherries and add them to a large bowl with the bourbon.
- Add the cornstarch, agave nectar, cinnamon, orange juice and zest.
- Place the cherries in the bottom of a baking dish.
- In a small bowl combine the oats, bacon, flour and brown sugar.
- Mix together then add the butter.
- Use your hands to combine the mixture into a crumble and add on top of the cherries.
- Bake for 1 hour.
