Brown Sugar Garlic Oven Baked Pork Chops

This oven-baked pork chops recipe features bone-in pork loin chops coated with a garlic and brown sugar blend, cooked alongside seasoned Yukon gold potatoes. The combination produces savory, slightly sweet pork chops with tender roasted potatoes, all cooked together on one sheet pan for easy preparation. The brown sugar creates a caramelized crust, while garlic adds aromatic flavor.

Description

Brown Sugar Garlic Oven Baked Pork Chops blend minced garlic and brown sugar with kosher salt and black pepper to season bone-in pork loin chops. The pork and cubed Yukon gold potatoes, tossed with oil and seasoning, are arranged together on a sheet pan. Baking at 375°F allows the pork to cook through while the potatoes roast to tenderness and slight crispness.

The brown sugar coating caramelizes gently, balancing the savory garlic and salt to enhance pork flavor. This method uses a straightforward sheet pan approach, requiring minimal cleanup and allowing the potatoes to absorb some juices from the pork for complementary taste.

Resting the pork chops briefly after baking lets juices redistribute for moist texture. The recipe focuses on a classic flavor combination and an easy oven-baked technique suited to weeknight meals or simple gatherings.
