Ingredients
- 1 head of garlic
- olive oil
- 16 ounces butter room temperature, use a good brand of butter like Kerrygold
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- zest of one lemon
- 4 figs quartered
- 1/4 cup fig butter or fig jam
- 3 tablespoons honey
- fresh Rosemary
- Bread for serving

Instructions
- To roast the garlic - cut the top of the head of garlic off. Place on a sheet of tin foil and drizzle generously with olive oil. Wrap tightly and place in the oven at 400 for 40 minutes.
- Spread butter onto the serving board. Sprinkle with salt and lemon zest.
- Place fig quarters, fig butter, and roasted garlic on the board.
- Sprinkle rosemary over the board.
- Drizzle honey over the board.
- Serve with bread slices.
Notes
- Use hot honey for a little extra kick.
- You can use orange zest instead of lemon zest if desired.
- Sourdough bread is my favorite bread to use, but you can use any crusty bread.
- Use parchment paper under your butter for easy clean up.
