Cafe Rio’s Creamy Tomatillo Dressing
Description
Cafe Rio’s Creamy Tomatillo Dressing combines a packet of ranch seasoning mix with buttermilk and mayonnaise to form a creamy base. The addition of fresh tomatillo, garlic, cilantro, lime juice, and jalapeño peppers adds brightness, herbal notes, and a touch of heat. The ingredients are blended until smooth, allowing flavors to meld in the refrigerator before serving.
The dressing balances tangy, creamy, and mildly spicy elements and works well drizzled over tacos, burritos, or salads that feature smoky or grilled meats. It offers a fresh contrast to rich or spicy dishes, enhancing overall flavors.
Note that the dressing can increase in heat intensity as it sits, so adjust jalapeño quantity to your preferred spice level.
