Campfire Sugar Ham with Dijon Roasted Potatoes

Campfire Sugar Ham pairs a sweet, glazed ham with Dijon mustard-roasted russet potatoes. The ham is heated as per package instructions while the potatoes are seasoned simply with canola oil, salt, pepper, and finished with whole grain mustard after roasting. This combination delivers a contrast of sweet, savory, and tangy flavors.

Description

This recipe features CUREMASTER RESERVE™ Campfire Sugar Ham, which is warmed according to package directions, often an opportunity for an informal gathering moment. Alongside, peeled and cubed russet potatoes are tossed with canola oil, kosher salt, and freshly cracked black pepper, then roasted at 375°F for 25-30 minutes to develop a crispy exterior and soft interior. Once roasted, the potatoes are tossed with whole grain mustard, which adds a sharp, tangy finish that complements the ham’s sugary glaze. The dish balances the ham’s sweetness with rustic, mustard-coated potatoes. It makes a filling meal suitable for casual dinners where the ham is the centerpiece.
