Caramel Latte
Description
The Caramel Latte recipe requires heating milk with sugar-free caramel sauce, vanilla extract, and freshly brewed espresso or strong coffee. The milk mixture is gently simmered to blend the flavors without boiling. Separately, chilled heavy cream is whisked with confectioners’ sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until soft peaks form to create a smooth, sweet whipped cream topping.
Served by pouring the caramel-infused coffee into mugs and topping with the whipped cream, this latte offers creamy texture alongside the caramel's buttery sweetness balanced with coffee bitterness. Optional golden sugar and additional caramel sauce can be sprinkled on top to add crunch and enhance the caramel notes.
Using sugar-free caramel sauce and sweetened whipped cream allows a moderate sweetness ideal for those who prefer less sugar. The whipped cream should be freshly made and served immediately for the best texture.
