Dough
- 500 gms flour
- 100 gms sugar 3.5 oz
- 90 ml extra virgin olive oil 3.2 oz
- 180 ml white wine 6.4 oz
- 2 tbsp marsala wine or dry Sherry
- 1 pinch salt
- water enough to get a smooth and pliable dough
Ricotta Filling
- 500 gms ricotta 1.1 lbs
- 300 gms sugar 10.5 oz
- 50 gms dark chocolate chips 1.75 oz
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp cinnamon optional
To Assemble
- icing sugar
- vegetable oil for frying
