Cherry Vanilla Syrup
Report
Cherry Vanilla Syrup has taken the internet by storm recently! I thought that it might be good for more than just coffees and matcha and making flavored syrups is super simple to do at home!

Add to Shopping List
Instructions
- Add water, sugar, and cherries to a saucepan
- cook over medium heat for 20 minutes
- Remove from the heat, and strain the mixture
- Add the vanilla extract and mix
- Pour syrup into an air tight container and store in the fridge for up to two weeks
Notes
- If you can find fresh cherries you can use those rather than frozen. For this recipe, I think that frozen works just fine because we aren't really doing anything with the cherries except extracting flavor.
- This syrup would be excellent on or in any number of things! Teas, coffees, sodas, ice cream, pancakes, you name it!
- You can get fancy with your vanilla extract here and you can add more if you want more vanilla flavor.
