Ingredients
- 1 cup water filtered
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1-2 Vanilla Beans

Instructions
- With a sharp knife split vanilla bean(s) down the length of the bean. Scr
- Add the sweeteners to a small saucepan.
- Scrape the vanilla pulp from the beans and place on the sweetener. Place vanilla beans in the saucepan.
- Pour water over sugar and stir to combine. Heat on medium and stir ingredients until the sweetener dissolves, 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the vanilla bean steep in the syrup while cooling.
- Remove vanilla bean and strain syrup with a sieve or cheese cloth over a clean jar.
- Place vanilla bean back in the jar to keep flavoring the syrup.
Notes
- If you don't mind the flecks of the vanilla bean, then it's not necessary to strain the syrup.
- Replace sugars with 1/2 cup monk fruit and 1/2 cup allulose.
- Vanilla extract and vanilla paste can be used 1:1 ratio for a vanilla bean.
