Chili's Salsa Recipe

This salsa blends canned tomatoes, green chilies, and diced jalapenos with seasonings including garlic, onion powder, cumin, and a touch of sugar to create a smooth, flavorful dip. Using both canned and fresh Roma tomatoes adds body and freshness to the salsa blend. The recipe calls for blending all ingredients together until combined, resulting in a balanced and mildly spicy salsa suitable for chips or as a topping.

Description

Chili's Salsa Recipe involves combining canned tomatoes, green chilies, whole tomatoes with juice, and canned diced jalapenos with spices: onion powder, garlic salt containing parsley, minced garlic, cumin, and sugar. Fresh Roma tomatoes are added for additional fresh tomato flavor and texture. The ingredients are blended thoroughly until smooth and uniform.

The resulting salsa has a fresh tomato base enhanced with mild heat from canned jalapenos and green chilies, savory aromatic qualities from garlic and onion powders, and a balanced sweetness from sugar. This creates a versatile dip or condiment that complements chips, tacos, or grilled dishes.

For storage, the salsa should be kept chilled in an airtight container or mason jar and will keep for five to seven days in the refrigerator, maintaining freshness and flavor over that period.
