Chimichurri Burger

The Chimichurri Burger features ground beef patties grilled alongside sliced onions and served with tomato, lettuce, and a fresh herb-rich chimichurri sauce. The sauce, made from parsley, oregano, garlic, olive oil, and wine vinegar, adds bright, savory notes that complement the juicy burger. This combination creates a flavorful burger with a herbal tang and balanced seasoning.

Description

This burger recipe forms 1-pound ground beef into four patties seasoned simply with salt and black pepper. The patties are grilled with sliced onions to develop char and sweetness. A chimichurri sauce is prepared by processing fresh Italian parsley, oregano, garlic cloves, olive oil, and wine vinegar until blended, providing a vibrant topping with fresh herb flavors and acidity.

Assembled with fresh tomato slices and lettuce on hamburger buns, the patties are topped with chimichurri for a lively contrast to the rich beef. The grilling method adds smoky notes while the chimichurri sauce introduces brightness and garlic punch.

This burger is suited for typical burger meals and offers a twist through the herbaceous sauce, enhancing the classic grilled beef experience.
