  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup neutral cooking oil generic cooking oil
  • 2 large egg
  • 15 ounces white cake mix
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350. Line muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Add the milk, oil and eggs to a large mixing bowl. Stir until well combined. Add the cake mix and mix until just combined (the mixture may still look a little lumpy). Fold in the chocolate chips.
  3. Fill the muffin tins about 2/3 of the way full. Dot the tops with extra chocolate chips, if desired.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes, or until lightly golden and a tester comes out mostly clean.
  5. Cool the muffins in the tin for 5 minutes, before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
