Ingredients

125 gms – ½ cup butter softened
110 gms – ½ cup caster sugar
1 pinch salt
90 gms – 1/3 cup plus 2 tsp brown sugar very firmly packed
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 large egg
100 gms – 2/3 cup self-raising flour
150 gms – 1 cup plain flour
200 gms – 1 cup chocolate chips I use dark chocolate, but feel free to use your favourite kind
