  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar packed
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt If using unsalted butter then add ¼ teaspoon of salt
  • 2 large egg room temperature
  • ½ cup butter softened
  • 1 medium-large pear or 2 small, peeled, cleaned & finely chopped
  • ½ cup chocolate chips semi sweet or milk

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350F (180C). Line a large or 2 medium cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl whisk together the flour, sugars, baking powder and salt. Add the eggs and butter and beat on medium speed to combine. 
  3. Fold in the chopped pear and chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls on the prepared cookie sheet and bake for about 15-18 minutes or until lightly golden. Let the cookies cool on the cookie sheet then move to a wire rack. Enjoy!
