Coconut Macarons

Coconut Macarons are chewy, sweet cookies made from sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and almond extracts, flour, sweetened coconut flakes, and salt. The mixture is shaped into scoops and baked to create golden-topped treats with a tender coconut texture inside.

Description

This Coconut Macarons recipe starts by blending sweetened condensed milk with vanilla and almond extracts, providing a rich, sweet base with distinct flavor notes. Flour, coconut flakes, and salt are mixed in to bind the ingredients and add texture.

The batter is chilled before scooping, which helps maintain shape during baking. Baking at 350°F produces a golden crust on top while keeping the centers soft and chewy, characteristic of macarons with coconut.

The coconut flakes create a slightly coarse texture that contrasts pleasantly with the creamy condensed milk sweetness. These macaroons can be served as dessert or a sweet snack, enjoyed for their nutty and tropical flavor.
