Coconut Protein Balls

Coconut Protein Balls blend vanilla vegan protein powder, hemp seeds, coconut butter, and cinnamon into small, hand-rolled bites. Sweetened lightly with maple syrup and moistened with water, these no-bake balls provide a concentrated plant-based protein snack with a hint of spice and tropical richness from coconut butter.

Description

The Coconut Protein Balls combine vegan vanilla protein powder and hemp seeds for protein and texture. Coconut butter adds fat and a creamy coconut flavor, while cinnamon brightens the taste with warm spice. Maple syrup sweetens the mixture lightly, and water adjusts the consistency to enable rolling.

After pulsing the ingredients in a food processor, the dough is shaped into bite-sized balls. These can be eaten immediately or stored at room temperature for a few days, refrigerated for up to two weeks, or frozen for several months, offering flexible storage options for on-the-go snacking.

Ingredients

Servings
  • ¼ cup vegan protein powder vanilla flavor
  • ¼ cup hemp seed
  • ¼ cup coconut butter
  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients in a mini chopper/processor and pulse a few times to incorporate.
  2. Give the dough a stir and start to roll the mixture (with your hands) into 1 tbsp sized balls. It should make about 8. If the dough is too crumbly add a few drops of water.
  3. Eat right away or store in an airtight container at room temp for 3-4 days. For longer storage, store in an airtight container in the fridge for 1-2 week or in the freezer for 2-3 months.

Notes

  • Use vegan vanilla protein powder to maintain a plant-based snack.
  • Adjust dough moisture with small amounts of water if it feels too dry or crumbly for rolling.
  • Store protein balls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days, refrigerate for 1-2 weeks, or freeze for 2-3 months.
