Cod Spice Rub Recipe

Makes enough seasoning for 6 cod fillets (with each fillet weighing about 5 ounces). I recommend to use about ½ teaspoon per 5-ounce cod fillet.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • ½ teaspoon smoked hot paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a bowl and stir until well combined.
  2. Store in an airtight container (such as a glass jar) in a cool, dark place, such as the kitchen pantry. It will keep for at least 6 months.

Notes

  • How to use the rub: Pat cod fillets dry using paper towels, then sprinkle evenly with the spice rub. Grill, broil or fry.
