Recreate the nostalgic flavor of Ponderosa Steakhouse's famous loaded mashed potatoes from their legendary buffet, complete with cheese, bacon, and all the fixings!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups instant mashed potatoes
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup bacon bits plus more for topping
- 2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup (heaping) chopped onions
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup butter

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Prepare potatoes according to the package directions. Add 1/2 cup butter. Let cool slightly.
- Mix all ingredients together and pour it into an 8x8-inch baking dish that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes. Top with bacon bits if desired.
