Cottage Cheese with Fruit

This simple but delicious cottage cheese with fruit breakfast bowl recipe is one of my favorites for busy mornings. It comes together quickly and easily and makes for a nutritious breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 lime juiced and zested
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 handful basil ribboned
  • ¾ cup blackberries
  • ¾ cup strawberries sliced
  • ¾ cup blackberries
  • 2 cups cottage cheese 2% MF

Instructions

  1. Add the blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, lime juice, lime zest, honey, and basil in a bowl. Mix to combine.
  2. Scoop half a cup of cottage cheese into a bowl, plate, or cup. Top with a quarter of the fruit mixture, making sure to drizzle the liquid in the bottom of the bowl on the cottage cheese. Repeat with the rest of the cottage cheese and fruit. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Instead of ¾ cups of each of the blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries, you can use 2¼ cups of fruit of your choice.
