Crab Rangoon Pizza with Sweet & Sour Drizzle
Description
This pizza starts with rolled-out dough as a base. The creamy topping is made by processing imitation crab with part of the cream cheese, garlic, green onions, sesame oil, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Spoonfuls of this mixture and additional cream cheese are spread over the crust, followed by more crab meat. The pizza is topped with a homemade sweet and sour sauce made from sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, and cornstarch, some of which is baked on the pizza and some drizzled after baking.
The baking at 400°F melts the cheese and unites the flavors, while the fried wonton strips add a crispy crunch reminiscent of crab rangoon appetizers. The pizza pairs well with a simple green salad and can be served as a unique, flavorful main course.
