Cranberry Pork is pork sautéed in a sweet, tart, tangy, spicy sauce made with cranberries, red wine, and dijon mustard.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons oil divided
- 1-1/2 pounds pork chops cubed
- salt and freshly cracked black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- 1/2 onion chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1 cup low sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce optional - adjust amount to taste
Instructions
- Season the pork with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and sage. In a large skillet over medium high heat add 1 tablespoon oil. Brown the pork. Turn to brown each side. Remove pork. Set aside.
- Add more oil if needed. Add chopped onion and cook until soft. Add garlic and cook for about 1 minute. Add red wine and cook for about 2 minutes. Add chicken broth. Then add cranberries, brown sugar, mustard, and hot sauce. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Add pork back into the pan with the sauce. Stir pork and cook until the meat is fully cook and the sauce has glazed the pork.
