Cranberry Tuna Salad on Apple Slices
Description
This recipe blends canned tuna with mayonnaise and apple cider vinegar, seasoned with salt and pepper, and includes dried cranberries for bursts of sweetness and chew. The resulting salad balances creamy, savory, and fruity flavors.
The tuna salad is served atop sliced apples, using medium sweet varieties such as Pink Lady or Honeycrisp, cut into firm, even slices that hold the salad without breaking. This pairing adds a crisp and juicy texture contrast to the creamy tuna, as well as fresh juiciness to each bite.
