Crock pot Smothered Pork Chops

Report
These Crock pot Smothered Pork Chops use boneless pork chops cooked slowly with sliced mushrooms and onions in a creamy blend of mushroom and chicken soups, seasoned with garlic, paprika, and black pepper. The slow cooking tenderizes the meat and infuses it with savory sauce, making it an easy, hearty meal.

Description

The pork chops are layered in a crock pot with mushrooms and onions on top. A sauce made by whisking together cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, beef broth, minced garlic, paprika, and black pepper is poured over the ingredients. The dish is cooked covered on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the pork reaches safe internal temperature.

The resulting chops are tender and coated in a thick, flavorful gravy that pairs well with rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles to soak up the sauce. The combination of two cream soups creates a rich, savory base complemented by mushrooms and seasoning.

This dish emphasizes convenience and flavor by using a slow cooker, allowing hands-off cooking ideal for a comforting home meal.
