Crudité platter with easy sour cream dip
Description
The Crudité platter combines a variety of raw vegetables arranged around a bowl of sour cream dip. The dip itself is a blend of sour cream or Greek yogurt with chopped parsley and chives, seasoned with garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Chilling the dip allows the flavors to meld before serving.
The vegetables used include cherry tomatoes, baby carrots, sugar snap peas, broccoli florets, asparagus spears, sliced peppers, and baby corn. Their differing textures—from crisp snap peas to tender broccoli—offer contrast alongside the creamy, tangy dip.
This platter works well as a fresh appetizer, light snack, or party offering and can be prepared a couple of hours ahead. Keeping the assembled platter covered in the refrigerator until ready to serve helps maintain vegetable freshness and dip flavor.
