Cucumber Avocado Salsa
Description
The Cucumber Avocado Salsa combines peeled and seeded cucumber, ripe avocado, seeded tomato, finely chopped red onion, fresh cilantro, and minced garlic to create a fresh and textured salsa base. The sauce of reduced-fat sour cream mixed with lemon and lime juice, ground cumin, and salt adds creaminess, acidity, and subtle earthiness.
Gently tossing the vegetables with the sauce ensures the delicate avocado maintains its shape while being evenly coated. Serving this salsa with tortilla chips provides a crisp vessel for the cool, creamy mixture, making it suitable as a snack or appetizer. The combination of citrus juices and cumin imparts a bright and mildly spiced flavor.
