Cucumber Tomato Avocado Salad

This salad blends fresh Roma tomatoes, crisp English cucumber, ripe avocado, and red onion dressed simply with olive oil, lemon juice, and fresh cilantro. The combination creates a refreshing, vibrant salad featuring creamy avocado contrasting with juicy tomatoes and cool cucumber, finished with bright citrus and herb notes for a clean, light flavor and crisp texture.

Description

The Cucumber Tomato Avocado Salad brings together chopped Roma tomatoes and sliced English cucumber with diced, ripe avocado, and thinly sliced red onion. These fresh ingredients mix to create a varied texture, from the firmness of cucumbers to the softness of avocado. The dressing of extra virgin olive oil and fresh lemon juice adds richness and a citrus tang, while fresh cilantro (or dill or green onions as alternatives) contributes herbal brightness.

The seasoning with sea salt and black pepper at the end enhances the natural flavors without overpowering them. This salad is easy to assemble and is suitable as a side dish or a light main during warm weather. Chilling before serving allows the flavors to meld and the salad to refresh.
