Easy 10-Minute Tiramisu
Description
Easy 10-Minute Tiramisu blends whipped heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla, folded with mascarpone cheese for a rich, creamy filling. Ladyfingers are briefly dipped in espresso or strong coffee and layered with the cream mixture. The dessert is topped with cocoa powder for classic flavor and presentation.
The recipe relies on careful dipping of ladyfingers to avoid sogginess while still imparting coffee flavor. When assembled in an 8×8 pan, it makes two layers of ladyfingers and cream, creating a soft, airy dessert. Refrigeration for 2 to 4 hours firms the layers and melds flavors.
The optional amaretto liquor can be added to the cream mixture to introduce a hint of almond and warmth, complementing the coffee notes. This makes a convenient, elegant dessert that can be prepared ahead and chilled until serving.
Mascarpone cheese can be substituted with a cream cheese mixture combined with sour cream and heavy cream if needed. Egg-free ladyfingers are recommended when avoiding eggs. The recipe offers flexibility with alcohol options and ensures a smooth finish with minimal hands-on time.
