Easy Asparagus Stir-Fry

This Easy Asparagus Stir-Fry uses fresh asparagus cut diagonally, sautéed quickly with garlic and ginger for a vibrant vegetable side. The addition of orange juice adds a subtle citrus brightness, while sesame oil provides a toasty finish. The stir-fry preserves the asparagus's tender-crisp texture and makes a light, flavorful accompaniment to any meal.

Description

Easy Asparagus Stir-Fry features thinly sliced asparagus cooked in olive oil until just tender, maintaining a pleasant crunch. Fresh minced garlic and ginger add aromatic depth during a brief sauté, followed by a splash of orange juice that cooks down, infusing the asparagus with a mild citrus note. A finishing drizzle of sesame oil and a pinch of salt round out the flavor profile, contributing nuttiness and seasoning without overpowering the delicate vegetable.

The method is straightforward: trimming woody ends, cutting the asparagus diagonally for even cooking and visual appeal, then stir-frying over medium heat with aromatics. Cooking times are short to preserve texture and bright green color.

This stir-fry serves well as a simple side dish alongside a variety of proteins or as part of a vegetable-forward meal.
