Easy Avocado Spread
Description
This spread mixes ripe avocado flesh with tahini for a creamy texture and a slightly nutty undertone. Lemon juice brightens the flavors while Dijon mustard and garlic powder contribute mild seasoning and depth. Salt and black pepper complete the taste balance.
The preparation involves mashing the avocado thoroughly and stirring in the other ingredients, or blending all together for a smooth consistency. Its light seasoning allows the avocado’s natural flavor to stand out.
Easy Avocado Spread is versatile for use on breads or as a dip and is especially suitable for those monitoring carbohydrate intake, as it contains only about 1g net carbs per portion. Making two generous portions, the recipe allows storage in the refrigerator for up to three days, with clingfilm covering the surface to prevent browning.
