Easy Blueberry Granola Yogurt Bowls and Homemade Blueberry Syrup
Description
Easy Blueberry Granola Yogurt Bowls and Homemade Blueberry Syrup features bowls filled with plain or Greek yogurt, topped with crunchy maple pecan granola and fresh blueberries. The star component is the homemade blueberry syrup crafted by simmering blueberries, water, and sugar until thickened, then strained and finished with lemon juice for brightness. The syrup adds a smooth, slightly tart sweetness that complements the creamy and crunchy elements of the bowls.
The syrup is prepared gently on the stovetop until the berries break down and the mixture thickens, then strained to achieve a smooth consistency. Assembled bowls include dividing the yogurt, sprinkling granola and blueberries on top, and drizzling with the syrup before serving. This layered preparation delivers a range of textures from creamy, to crunchy, to juicy bursts of fruit.
This recipe is well suited to mornings or light meals where a cool, fruity component is desired without heavy preparation. The syrup can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container to enjoy later, and adjusting the syrup amount offers control over sweetness and flavor intensity.
