Easy Homemade Salsa Recipe

Easy Homemade Salsa blends ripe cherry or Roma tomatoes with fresh chili peppers, onions, garlic, and cilantro for a flavorful dip with a hint of lime. The food processor is used to finely chop the ingredients while retaining a bit of chunkiness, making the salsa vibrant and fresh in texture. It's a versatile accompaniment for corn chips and can be stored refrigerated to enjoy throughout the week.

Description

Easy Homemade Salsa Recipe brings together a mix of cherry or Roma tomatoes, canned diced tomatoes, green and red onions, jalapeño and red chili peppers, garlic, fresh cilantro, lime juice, lime zest, and a touch of chili powder and cumin. The ingredients are briefly pulsed in a food processor to create a salsa with a chunky but well-incorporated texture. The combination of fresh and canned tomatoes with aromatic herbs and spices offers a bright, zesty flavor with mild heat from the chilies.

The salsa works well as a dip served with corn chips, garnished with parsley and lime wedges to enhance freshness.

Leftover salsa keeps well in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, making it convenient to prepare in advance or to have on hand as a snack or topping.
