Easy Oven Baked Beef Tacos
Description
Easy Oven Baked Beef Tacos start with cooking diced onions and peppers in cooking oil, then adding ground beef seasoned with chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Tomato sauce is incorporated to create a moist, flavorful taco filling that thickens with cooking. Flat-bottomed taco shells provide a sturdy base to hold the beef and cheese mixture.
Filled tacos are baked in the oven until the cheese melts and starts to meld with the beef. The combination of seasoned beef, softened vegetables, and melted cheese creates a satisfying texture and rich flavor perfect for casual meals.
These tacos are meant to be served warm with a variety of toppings like sour cream, guacamole, salsa, diced tomatoes, lettuce, and green onions. This allows customization and fresh contrast in each bite, making the dish versatile for various preferences.
