Easy Philly Cheesesteak Sliders
Description
This recipe begins by caramelizing sliced onions, mushrooms, and green bell peppers in butter until golden and tender. Thinly sliced beef is then cooked in the same skillet, browned and seasoned with salt and pepper to maintain robust flavor. The sliders are assembled by placing beef and vegetable layers on split buns, topping with provolone cheese, and adding the bun tops. Garlic is pressed into melted butter and brushed over the buns before baking.
Baking at moderate temperature melts the cheese and crisps the tops with fragrant garlic butter, enhancing savoriness and texture. The combination of tender beef, sweet sautéed vegetables, and creamy provolone melds well with the soft bread, providing a handheld meal rich in distinctive Philly cheesesteak components condensed into a convenient size.
These sliders offer a casual party item or easy dinner option where familiar steak and cheese sandwich flavors are enjoyed in smaller portions with caramelized vegetables contributing subtle sweetness and depth.
