Egg Toast Recipe

Add some “egg-citement” to your breakfast toast with sublime scrambled eggs.

Ingredients

  • 2 lices whole grain bread
  • 1/2 tbsp butter unsalted
  • 2 egg large
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • chives optional, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Toast the whole grain bread slices to your preferred level of crispiness using a toaster or in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Heat the butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until melted. Pour in the egg mixture and gently scramble until the eggs are just set.
  4. Place the scrambled eggs evenly on top of the toasted bread slices. Garnish with chopped chives if desired.
