Everything Bagel Dip
Description
This dip uses softened vegan (or dairy) cream cheese and plain yogurt blended until smooth. A generous amount of everything bagel seasoning—made from dried minced onion, poppy seeds, dried garlic, sesame seeds, and sea salt—is folded in, delivering the signature savory and aromatic notes reminiscent of an everything bagel.
The dip is chilled before serving to meld flavors and achieve a creamy, spreadable texture. It pairs well with fresh vegetables, chips, or crackers, making it a flexible appetizer or snack option.
Variations include using vegan sour cream instead of yogurt or preparing a version with just Greek yogurt and seasoning for a tangier flavor. The dip stores well for up to a week refrigerated.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces vegan cream cheese dairy-based works too, softened
- ½ cup PLAIN yogurt dairy-based works too, vegan
- 5 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning or use the recipe below, divided

Bagel Seasoning:
- 1 Tablespoon onion dried minced
- 1 Tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 Tablespoon garlic dried, minced
- 2 Tablespoons white sesame seeds or black sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon sea salt I like Maldon salt, flaked
Instructions
- Place the cream cheese and yogurt in a food processor and process until smooth.
- Stir in 4 tablespoons of the spices or premixed bagel seasoning. Top with the remaining tablespoon. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Leftover dip will keep for up to 1 week in the fridge.
Notes
- Vegan sour cream can substitute plain yogurt if preferred for a different tang and consistency.
- To make a version with only Greek yogurt, combine 1 1/2 cups Greek yogurt with 3 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning.
- Leftover dip keeps well in the refrigerator for up to one week.
