  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 8 lices bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon in a shallow dish.
  2. Dip each slice of bread in the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides.
  3. In a large pan or griddle over medium heat, melt the butter.
  4. Add the bread slices to the pan and cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
