Fried Ravioli

This quick and easy Fried Ravioli recipe features cheese ravioli coated with seasoned bread crumbs and fried to perfection. Enjoy with a side of marinara sauce for an appetizer everyone will love.

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound cheese ravioli Fresh or Frozen, Defrosted
  • 1 Cup bread crumbs Italian style
  • 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1/2 Teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tablespoon water
  • vegetable oil For Frying

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine the bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Set aside.
  2. In another shallow dish, whisk together the egg and water. Set aside.
  3. Dip the raviolis in the egg mixture and then press into the bread crumb mixture. Set on a wire rack while the frying oil heats up.
  4. Heat the oil in a large deep pan or dutch oven to 350℉. Fry the raviolis in batches, about 6 at a time until golden brown and crispy, about 1.5-2 minutes. Turing half way through. Remove from oil and set on a wire rack to cool slightly.
  5. Serve with marinara sauce, garnish with grated parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. Enjoy!
