Ingredients
- 30 ounces frozen hash browns diced, thawed
- 1/2 cup salted butter melted
- 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup 10.5 ounces
- 2 cups sour cream
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
For the topping:
- 2 cups corn flakes
- 4 tablespoons salted butter melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Spray a 9x13” baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, mix together the thawed hash browns, melted butter, chicken soup, sour cream, dried onion, salt and shredded cheddar cheese. 30 ounces frozen hash browns, 1/2 cup salted butter, 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup, 2 cups sour cream, 1 tablespoon dried minced onion, 1 teaspoon salt, 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Spread the potato mixture into the prepared pan.
- Place the cornflakes in a bag and crush them. Pour the crumbs in a small bowl and mix with the melted butter. Sprinkle the buttered cornflake crumbs on top of the potato mixture. 2 cups corn flakes, 4 tablespoons salted butter
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the mixture is heated through.
