Garlic Bread
Description
This recipe prepares garlic bread by softening unsalted butter and mixing it with fresh minced garlic, kosher salt for balance, and minced parsley for color and freshness. The butter mixture is spread evenly over French bread halved lengthwise, providing a rich aroma and flavor profile throughout the bake.
The bread is baked at 350°F initially to warm and melt the butter into the bread surface without burning the garlic. A final quick broil step crisps and browns the top edges for a nicely textured crust contrasting with the soft interior.
Served warm and sliced, this garlic bread complements many meals, especially Italian dishes or as an appetizer. It highlights the sharpness of fresh garlic balanced with smooth butter and fresh herbs.
