Garlic Brown Sugar Glazed Salmon
Description
The Garlic Brown Sugar Glazed Salmon features Atlantic salmon, seasoned and baked in aluminum foil to lock in moisture and evenly cook the fish. The glaze made from brown sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper is poured over the salmon before sealing the foil. Baking at 350°F for 20-25 minutes cooks the salmon through while allowing the glaze to infuse into the fish. Removing the top foil and broiling caramelizes the sugars for a glossy, browned finish.
This cooking method results in a salmon fillet with a moist, tender interior and a sweet-savory glaze that balances salty soy, citrus brightness, and garlic pungency. The caramelized top adds a contrasting texture to the soft fish beneath. Lemon slices and fresh parsley provide a fresh garnish to enhance presentation and complement the flavors.
Serve this glazed salmon as a main dish alongside simple steamed vegetables, rice, or a light salad. The rich glaze and tender fish offer a satisfying dish without complicated ingredients or steps.
