Greek Salad Dressing
Description
The Greek Salad Dressing balances acidity from red wine vinegar and fresh lemon juice with a touch of honey for sweetness. Dijon mustard acts as a binder to emulsify the olive oil, producing a smooth vinaigrette. Dried oregano and basil contribute herbal complexity, while seasoned salt and garlic powder round out the savory profile. Optional crumbled feta cheese adds creaminess and a salty tang when blended in.
This dressing pairs naturally with traditional Greek salads or mixed greens, bringing brightness and richness without overpowering fresh vegetables. Its moderately thick consistency coats salad ingredients well, enhancing their flavors.
Chilling the dressing for at least 30 minutes before serving helps meld flavors and thicken the texture. The recipe’s use of simple pantry ingredients makes it easy to prepare and store for multiple meals.
