Green Smoothie Bowl with Raspberries
Description
Green Smoothie Bowl with Raspberries incorporates kale for its deep green color and nutrients, balanced by the sweetness of frozen raspberries and kiwi slices. The addition of non-fat plain Greek yogurt adds creaminess and protein, while honey lightly sweetens the mix without overpowering the natural fruit flavors. The thick texture results from blending all ingredients until smooth, making it suitable to eat with a spoon. Customizable toppings can add crunch or extra sweetness as desired. This bowl is ideal for those seeking a wholesome, fruit-forward start to the day or a rejuvenating midday boost.
Ingredients
- 6 kale lacinato, large leaves, trimmed from stems
- ¼ cup raspberries frozen
- ½ cup Greek yogurt non fat, plain
- 1 kiwi sliced
- 2 teaspoon honey or maple syrup, leave out if keto
- Fruit and garnish for topping
Instructions
- Add all smoothie ingredients to a high powered blender and blitz until well combined. I had to use my tamper to push the ingredients down. This will be thick.
- Pour into a bowl and garnish!
Notes
- Use frozen raspberries to achieve a thick, chilled smoothie consistency.
- Adjust honey or syrup depending on desired sweetness or dietary needs.
- Nutrition facts provided do not cover any additional toppings you add to the bowl.
