Grilled Steak with Chimichurri

This perfectly grilled flank steak is tender and juicy and topped with the most delicious chimichurri sauce. Combined this main dish is one of our family favorites!

Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds flank steak
- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- ⅓ cup lemon juice
- ½ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon red pepper
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- garnish with chimichurri sauce
Instructions
- Add 1 ½ pounds flank steak to a resealable zip lock bag or large bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together ⅓ cup soy sauce, ⅓ cup lemon juice, ½ cup olive oil, ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon black pepper , ½ teaspoon salt, and ⅛ teaspoon red pepper.
- Pour the marinade on top of the steak and seal the bag. Marinate for 2 hours or overnight.
- Turn the grill to medium-high heat. Add the marinated steaks and cook on each side for 3 minutes or until the outside is browned. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Cook the steaks to the desired doneness. Mine took about 10 minutes flipping 3 times to get a medium well.
- Top with 2 tablespoons unsalted butter and garnish with chimichurri saucechimichurri sauce.
