- Serving Suggestions:
- If you'd like to grill Halloumi on your gas grill, make oil the grates, turn to medium-high heat and grill about 2-3 minutes on each side or until the halloumi is warmed through and has a crispy crust.
- For an even more decadent sandwich, lightly toast your bread in a toaster oven or in your frying pan.
- To make the outside of the cheese even more crispy, blot with paper towels before frying or grilling.
- Once halloumi is grilled or fried, you can store it in an airtight container in your fridge for up to 5 days.
- Although best when served immediately, grilled or fried halloumi is best reheated in the microwave at 10-15 second intervals. You could also reheat in a pan over low heat until warmed through.
- Serve with this Greek Potato Salad.
- Make Grilled Halloumi Sliders by serving in small rolls.
- Tartar Sauce is a zesty alternative to the mayo.
- Serve with Greek Spinach Rice.
