Hibachi Chicken

Hibachi Chicken features diced boneless, skinless chicken thighs cooked in a savory sauce of soy, hoisin, mirin, garlic, and honey, creating a sweet and umami-rich glaze. Accompanied by stir-fried vegetables and flavorful fried rice, this dish combines tender meat, crisp-tender vegetables, and aromatic rice for a balanced and satisfying meal inspired by Japanese grill flavors.

Description

The combined ingredients produce a hibachi-style entrée starting with a hand-mixed Yum Yum sauce made from mayonnaise, ketchup, sriracha, paprika, mirin, and garlic powder, which complements the chicken. Chicken pieces are seared in olive oil and butter, then coated with a sauce blend featuring soy, hoisin, mirin, minced garlic, and honey for a glossy, flavorful finish.

Vegetables including sliced onions, quartered mushrooms, and zucchini are stir-fried in the same pan, preserving sauce flavors and delivering a tender yet firm texture. Soy sauce adds seasoning to the vegetables.

Fried rice with garlic, soy, oyster sauce, peas, and scrambled eggs provides a seasoned, hearty side. The combination reflects the hibachi tradition of cooking quick, flavorful dishes on a hot grill or wok.
