Notes

  • The texture of this frozen yogurt is very thick and creamy. If you want it to harden/firm up more, place it in the freezer for only 15 minutes.
  • If you use a Greek yogurt you may need a dash of almond milk to get it to mix. However, don’t add more than a tablespoon or you’ll have a smoothie and not frozen yogurt.
  • You cannot use fresh fruit for the base of this recipe.
  • A pea protein powder will absorb more than a brown rice or coconut protein powder. So, you may need to adjust a bit depending on what you have.
  • Whey protein powder will work in this recipe as will traditional Greek yogurt.
  • Store it: you can store extra protein frozen yogurt in the freezer for a few weeks. However, it will crystalize a bit.
  • To enjoy it: remove it from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for 5 minutes. Then, reblend until it’s thick again. The texture won’t be completely the same but it’ll be good.
